OUR HISTORY
Bamby Collective was founded in 2019 when our founder Ambar wanted to create a safe, online community for young women of all backgrounds to connect. Post pandemic when connection is needed more than ever, Bamby Collective has evolved to cater for the desire to build bonds in person through our monthly events.
Our Founder
Ambar Driscoll is 24 and grew up in London. She attended the University of Exeter whilst modelling part time for brands such as Asos, Converse and Reebok. Whilst modelling she built up a loyal audience of over 260K on Instagram and 100K on TikTok, posting lifestyle and positive content regarding body image, and won Lifestyle Creator of the year at the 2021 Blogosphere awards. Ambar started Bamby Collective as an extension of the positive content she was creating on her own platform, with the desire to create a positive space for young women online. After lockdown, Ambar realised that more than anything, community members were using Bamby to make new friends, and focused the mission of Bamby on being a safe platform for young women to find friends.
